Macaroni Cheese Samosa Recipe

Here is a recipe for making Macaroni Cheese Samosas:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of macaroni
  • 2 cups of grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix of your choice)
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • Oil for deep-frying

Instructions:

  1. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a saucepan, melt 2 cups of grated cheese over medium heat. Once melted, add in diced onions, minced garlic, mustard powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

  3. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix well.

  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and water to make a dough. Knead the dough until it forms a smooth ball. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

  5. Roll out the dough into a thin sheet and cut it into circles using a round cookie cutter or a glass.

  6. Place a spoonful of the macaroni cheese mixture in the center of each circle, then fold the circle in half to form a semi-circle. Use a fork to press the edges together to seal the samosas.

  7. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or a large pan over medium-high heat. Carefully drop the samosas into the hot oil and fry until they are golden brown and crispy.

  8. Remove the samosas with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.

  9. Serve the Macaroni Cheese Samosas hot as a snack or appetizer.

You can also serve with a side of ketchup or any dip of your preference. These samosas can also be baked in the oven if you prefer a healthier option.
