Charan Singh Biography ?

Charan Singh was the fifth Prime Minister of India, serving from July 28, 1979, until January 14, 1980. He was born on December 23, 1902, in the village of Noorpur, British India (now in Uttar Pradesh, India) and died on May 29, 1987. He was a leader of the Indian National Congress party and later the Bharatiya Lok Dal party. Singh was also a prominent leader of the farmers' movement in India, and he served as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh from 1967 to 1968. He is considered as one of the most prominent leaders of the Indian farmers movement and is known for his efforts to improve the lives of farmers and rural areas in India.
